  1. Hello There,

I just wanted to thank you for leaving a nice comment after some thoughts I left on the Ethics Alarms blog.

Clicking on your name has led me to your blog, and I’ve read through most of if with great satisfaction. Heroes and Heroism may have been out of fashion ever since the turbulent 60s, but I greatly appreciate your efforts here.

If you are interested, I blog at The Jade Sphinx (http://thejadesphinx.blogspot.com/), and while I mostly write about books and art, I also touch often on heroes and heroism.

    Many thanks and continued success!

    • Thank you. I’ve come to think the destruction of the hero in pop culture was signature significance. Not that heroes of have flaws, but that those flaws negate the value of their heroism.
